The Bible Tells Me So!

The Bible is the most relied on, the most quoted, the most referred to, the most cherished, the most used, and the most believed in, and the most read book ever!

The Bible is the most controversial book ever!  All of the scholars and learned agree that everything in the Bible can be contradicted by everything in the Bible! So why do so many want to argue their favorite passages as being the only way?

The Bible tells stories.  The stories are beautiful, lovely, fantasy, real, mean, vicious, evil, good, and educational.

The Bible speaks of:   If your eyes offends you, cut it out!  Does anyone do that?

                                    To take an eye for an eye?  Does anyone do that?

                                    Sell your son(s) and/or daughter(s) into servitude/slavery!  Does anyone do that?

                                    It’s an abomination to mix the races!  Does anyone believe that?

                                    It’s an abomination to mix textiles.  Does anyone believe that?

The Bible has been used to justify what anyone dreams up to do or rationalize against any other.

The Bible has been used to justify the beliefs of one over another.

The Bible is a guide book – not a law book.  There are laws in it but who has been able to abide by all of those listed faithfully, fully, and religiously?  Especially the one about not killing or the one to love – not hate?

Is there a God?  No one has been able to prove there is any kind of one.  The only offer is of “feelings”.  People are sent to insane asylums because of their “feelings”, leading them to destructions and harm.
