There has been damage done.
There has been a loss of an executive member and four potential members.
Reputation has been compromised.
The damage has not been repaired.
The night of the Disco realized an incident of mistreatment and disrespect.  Confusion and misunderstandings brought a physical reaction that was reactionary and hostile; an inappropriate display.
There was a cause for the reaction.
Before the night of the Disco, the minutes recorded volunteer assignments.  When the volunteer arrived to honor the commitment to the assignment a friend accompanied the volunteer.  The friend offered assistance and time.  The proper authority for the night was alerted about the friend and indicated a desire to utilize the friend in a volunteer capacity.  The volunteer and friend were offered various volunteer duties, including the assignment commitment.  The volunteer and friend were informed to honor the assignment commitment of providing “runner” assistance back stage.  The information was not provided to others.  The volunteer and friend were prevented from completing their assignments at the stage door entrance using “Gestapo” type applications, thus resulting in mistreatment and disrespect.  Investigation and more direction should have been done, but was not.  The volunteer was yelled at, hands laid on, and physically shoved against a wall.  The volunteer and friend were physically assaulted and rudely treated.
A reaction ensued.  Improper responses displayed.  The cause has not been addressed.  The resulting damages have not been repaired.  Los of members have resulted.  The volunteer and friend could have been utilized for the needed (and missing) cueing of the entertainers and make sure the entertainers needs were taken care of.
